Chapter Twenty Eight

Vivian parked her car and alighted, entered the eatery she had once been with James, 'Yes, thanks." The building had changed a lot. It now had flowers planted at its entrance, which was not there before and the uncompleted bakery beside it had been finished. There was now a gate at the entrance but one could easily and clearly see what was going on outside the gate because of the open spaces between the rods of the gate.

She had parked her car outside the gate because she would not be staying long. She was not there to eat but to meet someone. 

She had heard that James was going to get married, and not just to anyone but Joyce, the gold-digger. That news a very sad one for her and she was willing to go extra mile just to make sure that the wedding would not hold. She would do everything in her power and that was why she was there. If she was not going to have James,neither will Joyce not any other woman out there.
