SIXTY-ONE

AYSHAM’S POV:

Fidgeting with the blanket in between my fingers and with thousands of ridiculous thoughts running inside me head I went to sleep soon. I strained myself at the edge of the bed just in case if he came back home early and the beast overcome the original Farzan so I could just run away as the door was close to that side. Hoping that he wouldn’t come home early I slept keeping the alarm for tahajud so I could wake up early and confront Suzi after that.

I didn’t know what was the time when I felt ruffling of sheets beside me. I usually didn’t wake up with the noise of drum but I wasn’t in a deep sleep at that time so I squirmed a little in my place only to scream the next moment because I was so close to the edge that I didn’t realize while turning around and my face was about to touch the floor when a firm grip appeared around my waist and in no second I was lying on top of him with my eyes hooded with the effect of sleep in my eyes.
