SIXTY-TWO

AYRA’S POV:

We ate with only a small conversations between me and Matilda because he decided to chose silence like he always did. I didn’t mind though as long as he kept his hands to himself which he did the rest of the breakfast.

“I’ve to go so you guys can finally be alone on your honeymoon. I am glad you have me your permission to rile him up.” Matilda whispered to me as we were heading out of the restaurant while he asked the valet to bring his car.

We bid goodbye to Matilda as she had some fashion emergency at her company leaving us two alone.

“Where are we going?” I asked as our car came to stand in front of us.

“Wherever you want to go.” He rasped and I felt my spine shudder at the warmth of his words.

“I want to walk.” I said and started walking towards the exit gate and then I heard him saying park back the car. Few seconds later his footsteps were matching the pace of mine.
