Chapter one hundred and eighty eight

AMELIA’s POV….

I gasped as I saw my hand start to glow. I took in a deep breathe as I clenched my fists, when suddenly, I heard Alex scream loudly. I raised my head to see him crashing against rocks and tears streamed down my cheeks.

“Alex!” I screamed as I tried to get off the floor despite being as weak as I was.

Gadob smirked as he slowly started to lift Alex over the floor and my eyes widened in shock as he started to hover Alex around the place.

“This is really who you thought could protect you, Amelia, even when you, who had powers, couldn’t protect yourself?” He asked as he shook his head.

“You underestimate me too much, too much for your own good, you know.” He said and tears streamed down my cheeks as I went on my knees.

“Alex did nothing to you. It’s me you want, right? I’m the one with your powers, right? I’m the one you want to kill, am I not? Please, spare him, he has done nothing to you and…..”

“Nothing?” He asked as he started to lead Alex towards the edge of the cliff
