Chapter one hundred and forty six

AMELIA’s POV….

“If you think that’s the case, then fine. Go on with your miserable unloved life.” He told me, and with that, he rolled his eyes as he walked out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

The moment he left, I fell to the ground as tears streamed down my cheeks. I ran my fingers through my hair as I stared at the door, hoping he would at least come back to listen and explain everything to me, but he didn’t.

I got off the floor as I opened the door slowly, peering through it with tears in my eyes to see if he was maybe standing at the door, waiting for me to say something, but he wasn’t. He was gone.

I contemplated going after him, but after much thought, I decided not to. He was at fault here. He was the one who had hurt me. He was the one who stood me up to spend time with Ariana. He was the one who was getting back with the same woman he had assured me he wouldn’t so why did I have to go to him?
