Chapter one hundred and four

AMELIA’s POV…

“I like this one. It’s beautiful.” I told him as I handed him the flower and he pulled me closer to himself as he placed the flower in a strand of my hair.

“It looks beautiful on you.” He told me and I felt my cheeks redden as I turned away from him before he pulled me into a hug from behind as we stared at the flowers.

It was a beautiful sight to behold and with the man I loved by my side, it felt even more beautiful. I took in a deep inhale as I placed my hand on his hand that had been wrapped around mine.

I prayed we remained happy like this forever. I took in a deep inhale as he buried his face in my neck.

“Thank you, Alex.” I muttered to him and he stared at me. “Thank you for everything you’re doing for Lilly and I. It means so much to me and…” he turned me to himself as he placed his index finger on my lips, shaking his head.

“I should have done all of this a long time ago, but it’s better late than never, right?” He asked me and I nodded with a smile on my face.
