Chapter one hundred and twenty one

AMELIA’s POV…

“Let go of me!” I struggled with the guards as he took me away, to the chambers of Alex.

Tears streamed down my cheeks as it kept replaying in my head that Liam had escaped and was now out for me. Oh, goodness! Of all people, why did it have to be me? Why was I the one who caught the attention of Liam?

I was gently pushed into the room and the delta stood at the door. “I am sorry, I am sure the Alpha doesn’t want to have you locked up in here, but you have to understand that you mean a lot to him and as such, he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you.” He told me and I clicked my tongue as I turned away from him.

I ran my fingers through my hair as he walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him and tears streamed down my cheeks.

My eyes caught sight of the window and I rushed to it, shutting it as the fear of Liam making it through the window sent shivers down my spine.
