Chapter seventy eight

AMELIA’s POV…

With one hand over Lilly’s mouth and the other over mine, I closed my eyes as I bit my lips, trying to digest the pain and just then, I looked at the knife that was getting taken out of my foot.

Blood!

Of course, it had blood. This was it. This would be how they finally caught me. Boxes never had blood, did they?

When I saw that they had gotten slightly distracted, I grabbed a piece of my clothe as I slid it across the knife, wiping my blood off it as I closed my eyes in pain.

“I told you there was nothing.” I heard the other man say and in no time, the truck started to move again.

In pain, I grabbed the box that had our sack of clothes, holding on to Lilly who had tears in her eyes.

“Amy..:” I shook my head, it was the only way I could tell her I was fine and she sniffled as she hugged me, tightly.

I smiled in pain as I moved to the entrance of the back of the truck where I had hidden myself and my sister. There had to be a way to stay hidden.
