Chapter seventy one

AMELIA’s POV…

War was never a good idea. There were many other ways to resolve things like these, and at times like these, war was usually the last option, so why were they choosing war now?

Damn those rogues!

“What are we to do now, Alpha Alexander?” Ivan, the Beta asked him and he ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed.

He looked around and I stared at him, waiting to hear his response. He’d only read the letter, he hadn’t made a decision and I hoped whatever his decision would be, it wouldn’t be to agree to the war.

“How many lives were lost?” He asked Ivan.

“I do not know yet, but from the look of things, our soldiers didn’t die. The ones dead are the attackers. Our soldiers did get hurt, though.” He said and looking down to his hand, I saw that it had been balled into a fist.

Seeing his hand this way, fear travelled through my spine and I swallowed at the sight of this. Oh, goodness!
