"Do you still love her" I asked. He sat unmoving looking at me not saying anything. I guess I had my answer. I stood up and he held me back.
"I do" I nodded looking down at my feet so he wouldn't see the tears in my eyes. Hearing it made my heart break even more.
"But I love you too" I looked up at him and stared into his eyes, searching for any hint he might be lying. His eyes looked sincere.
"You do?" I asked unsurely.
"Yes. I love you. I love everything about you and I want to spend the rest of my life showing you how much I do" I choked back a sob as he held me in his arms.
