The setting sun cast a warm golden hue across the city as Isabella and Jane sat in her apartment, preparing for the much-anticipated Johnson's party. Isabella's eyes gleamed with excitement, and her heart filled with the anticipation of a glamorous evening.

Jane, however, sat on the edge of the bed, her face clouded with mixed emotions, remembering the hurt Adrian had caused her just the other day.
