Next morning,

Adrian stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped in his lower body, steam trailing behind him as he walked into the bedroom. His tanned upper body was on display, fresh water droplets glistening on his abs.

His eyes fell upon Jane, sitting on the bed, her eyes fixed on the floor. She was already dressed up. “ Too eager to go.” Adrian thought in his mind, and somehow that irritated him.

If only everything was in his hand, he wouldn't let her go anywhere, nor would he himself leave the house. But he couldn't take the risk, not for now. Already his brother was suspecting him.

Jane was lost in her own world. After five long days, she would finally be able to go outside, to see the world, to go to her classes again. Even if the freedom was just for a few hours, she was looking forward to it.
