We’ve been searching the woods for over twenty-four hours, yet there was no sign of her pup.

My mate, whose name I still haven’t gotten the chance to know, reluctantly climbed on my back to ride on my wolf yesterday.

I had jumped into action when she bolted out of the bedroom yesterday, and she had thrashed vehemently against my hold while I tried to get her to calm down.

She had been loud and unwilling to listen, and when I eventually got her to calm down with a kiss I hadn’t even planned, she tried goading me to anger. There was no reason for me to tell her that the kiss with her was my first kiss.
