"Em, where are we?" James asked curiously once the car pulled over in front of the huge mansion.

Emma took a deep breath as she looked up at the extravagant place. Her home as he always says. There was something special about this place, something that stirred an emotion deep within her. It shouldn't come as a surprise though given that she'd been living there for over a month. She's an emotional person and always got attached to people and places rather quickly.

Taking a few moments to reconsider, Emma decided it was better to keep her relationship hidden from her brother. He was too young and too sensitive to understand the reason behind such an absurd marriage. Even if she told him the truth, she knew it would break his heart that she hid it for so long and kept him away from her. Her love and devotion for her brother was the only thing that had driven her to such drastic measures. She couldn't afford to upset him over something she was certain wouldn't last long and had no future
