Keeping secrets

It was the beginning of spring. The sun shone brightly and the sky was so clear that it felt like magic. Birds chirped as they flew through the sky, with a melody so sweet it was hypnotizing.

After stepping out of the luxurious black car, James slowly walked up the path to Mina's house, carrying his small panda bag on his shoulders and looking down at the vibrant wildflowers that had burst into bloom along the path. The little puppy had already scurried to Mina's door, feeling a sense of comfort and relief at the prospect of returning home.

Emma soon joined her brother and they both stopped and took a moment to admire the beauty of the flower beds. The cold winter had been long, harsh and tedious, but the beginning of spring promised new life, warmth, and hope that everything would be fine.

"What's the matter?" Emma asked, seeing the kid standing quietly. It was so unlike him.
