"Come on, Kitten. Let's get you inside..."

"Leave me alone!" Audrey pushed Alpha Lake aside as he came to carry her down from the car when they reached the Packhouse.

Audrey had pretended to fall asleep on their way back to the Pack; she didn't want to speak to him after what he did.

The image of him dancing with Adeline was still fresh in her mind, she didn't admit it, but deep down, her chest was constricting in jealousy.

Alpha Lake stood beside the car, wondering what had gone wrong in their night. They almost had a successful outing, but, Mr. Sullivan and his daughter had dampened their mood.

Wait... He looked at Audrey's retreating figure and a thought came into his mind.

'She's jealous!' He mused.

He came to a decision, as he followed her in. So she did have feelings for him? He was going to use her jealousy in his favor.

Tomorrow, at the party, he would see how she reacts when he chooses Adeline as his date instead of her; he wanted her jealousy to trigger her possessiveness,
