Chapter 66

"Easy," Alpha Lake gently lowered the 'injured' Audrey onto a chair on the dining table.

"Thank you," Audrey said.

She piteously stared at Sandra as she carried the dishes to the table.

"Dinner is served, Alpha," Sandra said wearily.

Audrey quietly seeped her water from the glass, waiting for the next scene to unfold.

Alpha Lake silently nodded and drew the dish closer, he opened the dish and his face immediately fell.

"Pft!" Audrey spurt out the water from her mouth, trying but failing to hold in her laughter.

Sandra sent Audrey a pleading look, her laughter was going to make everything worse.

"What's this?" Alpha Lake asked, staring at the food with disdain.

"I-it's n-noodles, A-alpha," Sandra said, visibly starting to shiver.

Audrey knew she had to stop laughing, but when she took a look at the chopped, wrinkly, and floating noodles, the laughter just started all over on its own.

And she bet her life that she prepared it with cold water.

"Behave, Kitten," Alpha Lake said discreetly
