Chapter Fifty–Three
RYDER.
In life, there are always situations that you can't control no matter how hard you try.
No matter how thoughtful, shrewd, cunny, or observative you think you are; there are situations that you will have no control over.
One of those dilemmas happens to be the one that just took place earlier.
My fight with Dawn.
I know I'm being despicable by doing this, but what I don't understand is why the fuck she's still here?
The only reason she ever thought of leaving Washington was because I fucked things up, and now that I've mended things back, and we are back together— I do not see a reason why she shouldn't be back in that city with me?
But, of course. It's Dawn.
Of course, she wouldn't listen to me.
She barely does.
Which is why I'm here, waiting for her to come back to this place because I'm not about to lose my girl over a shitty disagreement.
