The doctor called her inside and the next words she spoke made Kyara the most devastated person in the universe.
The pregnancy test came out negative.
She had a delayed cycle the month and Kyara was hoping she would hear the good news. But alas!
"Do not worry Kyara. The chances for you to go pregnant during the present cycle were meagre since your insemination happened on the sixteenth day. But still we took the chance since you are young." She patted her shoulder.
"There is no problem and you need not worry about anything. Next month when you get the cycle you have to come to me here continuously from the fourth day. I will give you injections that would boost your fertility." She smiled in a friendly manner.
