I asked Codyn to take the lead again as we ran through the path since I didn’t know exactly where it lead. I told him which direction my mate was and he nodded and told me we were on the right track.

We ran for a few more minutes and I felt my heart speed up when we realized how close we were. I could feel him, his heart beat, his emotions, his worry. He was worried about me. He was trying to find me.
