Chapter 94 Lick it like your life depends on it

CLARA'S POV

I am stunned now.

"It did not work." Clover whispered in my ear.

What was she saying? Was it not obvious enough that it did not make even one attempt at working?

"Clara, I want us to start afresh. A clean slate this time just like when we were kids." Kent said to me.

I looked around me as worriedly as possible. I caught sight of Grace and she too was stunned. The entire school was even watching us closely and Kent was still kneeling in front of me. He looked so sincere and upright at this point that I was quite worried about what he would say.

This look was the one I was used to on the Kent I knew when I was a child. It was endearing and enticing. I knew within me that if I was not careful enough, I would definitely fall for his misconducts.

"Oh, isn't that Grace?" Kent said, still on one knee. "Hi, Grace!"

He hailed Grace who gulped. She was obviously afraid right now as she slowly put up her hand and waved at him.
