Graduation

Alexa POV:

It was a nice humid day mid June and it was the day before my graduation I've worked so hard all through high school and college and now it's just one day until the moment I've been waiting for my GRADUATION! I've never been the popular kid in school I've always considered myself to be some what of a geek you know the type thick Curley unruly hair, glasses, and braces. So you can relate when I say guys never seemed to notice me.

That all changed midway through my freshman year in college when I met my best friend and now crazy outspoken roommate Cassie, who if you put us side by side we were polar opposites in the looks department in my opinion unlike myself Cassie stood 5'8" in height without the help of high heels blonde hair and sky blue eyes with a button nose and naturally rosie cheeks. She could put even the prettiest of models to shame with her looks and sense of fashion. We met bonded over reality t.v. and have been inseparable ever since.

myself however stood a measly 5'5" caramel complexion dark brown hair with striking grey eyes thanks to my father. I am curvier than most girls but it's all in the right places my big sister Anna always teases me telling me I have the sexiest child bearing hips she's ever seen. Anna is 7 years my senior so she is basically like a second mother instead of a big sister. Then there is Robby my brother the only time we see him home is on holidays he took over the family business when I was only 16 so his work keeps him pretty occupied some people see all of us together and you could easily swear that we were triplets all brown hair and grey eyes courtesy of Robert Sr..

I woke from my nap to Cassie singing to Rihanna song needed me and after four years I've come to know she only plays that song when she's nursing her broken heart. I slowly get out of bed and got to my on sweet to relieve myself and make my way out of my room to be met with Cassie in her sweat pants cleaning and singing like nobody's business when I walked up behind she must've been so into what she was doing because she let out the loudest scream I have ever heard when I tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention. Omg Lexie you scared the crap out of me don't do that again she said to me while placing her hand over her heart. But as I look into her eyes I notice the red swelling of her eyes and ask her what's wrong. She looks at me sighs and turns down the music and begins to tell me everything that happened to her the night before apparently her boyfriend now ex-boyfriend Josh has been cheating on her for more than 6 months and called her to end thing over the phone. Can you believe that over the phone. I put my arms around her trying to comfort her but she has been with Josh for two years and I may still be a virgin but I'm not so clueless to know you can't just mend a broken heart over night. Yes I'm a virgin Cassie often teases me for my lack of sex life but it's not like I'm saving myself for marriage or anything like that but I just haven't met the right guy to set my soul on fire. I don't know maybe I read to many romantic novels. After she lets out all of her tears she can let out she looks at me and her eyes goes big like they always do when she wants something in return. I look at her and ask what she wants knowing I'm gonna regret asking her that question because what she said next is totally out of character for me. Would you please come out with me tomorrow night to the new club I need a distraction from the jerk Josh and I want to get waisted really bad and try and forget that I ever knew anyone name Josh Mason. I think for what felt like hours because the club and bar scene has never been my cup of tea I'm about to say no when I look into her pleading eyes and I can say nothing but yes. One night out won't hurt right?
