THE three stood, the first sitting on the hood of the vehicle’s engine. Legs crossed and arms folded, his gaze remained fixed intimidating on Iva. He was a 6 ft 1, dressed decently in a red dress shirt and fitted leather pants and boots. His hair was swooshed with a lot of hair products that made it remain up and handsomely styled. She looked away from his black eyes to her left where the second was sitting dangerously at the edge of the bridge like a gargoyle. He was exactly 6 foot tall, lean, and appeared as though he was in his late teens. His green hair sat on his head like a wig, the middle hair longest touched the tip of his nose. He wore a black leather jacket, dark green jeans and black sturdy boots. Green eyes smiled at Draco. “Hey doggy!” he called sweet and tilted his head. Iva nodded to herself “Is he an animal?” she leaned toward Draco, who looked back at her and then at the third man who also had his gaze on Iva.Tall, most handsome, and charming, he folded his arm over
Iva gets up with a deep inhale, her eyes wide awake and staring at the wall of her rectangular prison, she furrowed her brows and hurriedly pushed up to a sitting position on the futon beneath her. It was placed on an elevated wad of cement. The room was empty beside that. From the wall she faced, the total steps that could be taken would be about 6 and 3 on her right. Clearly it was a little rectangular prison. The front gate she faced made of iron bars, see through to the outside. She hastened to her feet and looked through the bars, there was nothing but stale smell, dripping water and lit torches on the wall. The wall opposite her was not another row of prisons but a rail which meant the end of the road, she wondered what was down there. It was quiet, she took her head up, across the building was another area obstructed by rails, but a part had broken off. Rooms lined the entire place, with what looked like colored rectangular name plates on the doors, she could see partly the cei
‘CLANK clank!’ the sound of chains and keys rattling as her ‘cell’ was being opened. Iva rushed to her feet at the sight of the beast, he was intently watching the chains, mainly as though he had seen a ghost but Iva was more concerned with the questions she would mount on him. “what happened, why am I in here, Draco?”. Iva seemed to be growing trust in him, she could deceive herself all she could but the truth was she was getting fond of the beast, and the treatment didn’t seem as though she was tending a criminal. He took his eyes up silver staring blank and not responding to her questions. The manhandling the chain looked to Iva, and then to Draco who stepped in. She could feel her heart pound, it was a thought. “Did you sell me off?” she said, her pitch high and eyes wide waiting for a response.“Do I have to share a cell with her?” Draco asked and looked at the man. “You came together” he responded, his voice sounding as though he was a lot younger than Draco, you couldn’t tell
“HOW long are we going to be here, you said you need information and then we’d be out…”. Iva had heard that the main boss of this building had Intel on a lot, it was his natural born talent, his ability. She was curious to see it in action but the waiting was killing her plus they were trapped in a cell. “We are getting transferred” Draco responded and she looked to him. “What?” she questioned, He sat cross legged at the farthest end of the cell opposite the little quilt. He was staring at it while his hair twitched. Iva squinted curiously, she wondered what made his hair move so inhumanely. “Draco-Samson” she started eyes fixed on his snow white hair. His eyes darted to her and she was in a crouch as she slowly came towards him “what are you doing” something white but distinctive poked out his head so she was certain. “How can you not notice” she whispered and slammed her fist to the right side of his skull causing him to yelp in pain. “what the hell did you do you baboon!” his pitch
“ITS quite calm since you left, not that it’s a good thing, it’s quite boring actually, no adventure like that. I had to get used to the four corners of the workshop and embrace my talents” Draco folded his hand as they burst out into the highest balcony, it was like a pit that went down, the ground floor had people moving about it and so did the balcony that spanned round the entire large wall. “Incredible” Iva gasped. ,It was another city entirely, the walls of the entire cave and the ceilings decorated with light bulbs, stalls held colorful light bulb, they were more than 50 feet below the surface, it was beautiful but also a mass murder site. She couldn’t help but imagine someone evil throw a large bomb into the center. She wondered if it were her thoughts or that of Uhki. The band seemed very necessary now that she thought that way, Sede and everyone else had similar bracelet. “what is this place?” Iva asked as she looked down at the city momentarily. “Cave, it’s a place of refug
“SURE, but I doubt Dury would give you your stuff, you are… strange. From Vingerton right? Only Genesis and I’m guessing Draco know about the kind of things that go round there, of course they say it’s no threat, but Dury is really bent on properly scrutinizing, I doubt you’d earn his trust before you leave”. They began walking the opposite route from which Draco had taken, “So you trust me, naïve?”. The dog threw a look at her “I am sharper, I can tell you are a good person… and that you cried a lot when you lost your pet dog”. Iva gasped “you can tell that much, how do you…” was it necessary to ask, She was not in Vingerton but the Court , full of mystical creatures. Iva should know that he was not ordinary, plus he had ears just like Draco. Iva shivered, she couldn’t help but remember the shock of Draco having wolf-like ears. “Where to?” Iva rubbed her arm as she followed Sede through the bustling crowd. “Hopefully a place with food because I’m starving”. She had been hearing her
“SO Genesis is going to use Draco?” Iva dug her fork into the steak as she cut a chunk out, she didn’t think she’d be eating at a restaurant anytime soon, if she wasn’t fasting, then she’d be eating junk. That was all that went on in the last few days, her stomach cried out a lot, she was feeling terrible headaches and Sede had said she needed to eat lot more because she was weak and the bracer draining her powers didn’t do her any good. She only had about 50percent strength and the bracer would take out 30 or 40. She could faint at any point. “Not use per se” Sede tried to paint Genesis good for Iva and Aria shook her head “Its precisely the definition of what he is going to do Sede, you can’t sugar-coat it”.Aria took a rag from the bar top and shoved it in a metal cup as she cleaned it, Iva was sticking to the meal on her table and could gradually see recovery. “ Isn’t there already a trade, why would Genesis want Draco to work for him?”. Iva didn’t like the idea of a side mini mi
“IVA-LOIS” the man on his seat called calmly, his warm green eyes squinting at the shadows. Iva swallowed hard as she tried to think, her first thought was to run… but she wasn’t getting the vibe of kill from them, evil but she couldn’t feel the intent. ‘Why would they want me dead?’ although the question was not directed to the medallion spirit, she expected him to say something but he was silent. ‘How does he know my name?’ she asked and again it was left for her thoughts.“We just want to talk” the man said and Iva took her eyes up, defenseless and agitated she stepped out of the shadows, her hand gripping the mobile phone as she threw a glance at Sede and back at the man. ‘Devin?’ a voice came to her but not Uhki. ‘did Devin perhaps tell them?’ she furrowed her brows. “I want to discuss something you might be interested in if you please?”. “I’m only interested in solving this case, unless you plan to hand yourself over, I have nothing to do with you”. She did try not to look desp
