All of a sudden he said “Betty I can’t hate you especially for the way you have taken care of me. But I hope you understand where I am coming from.”

She understood him perfectly well and she didn’t wish that he bring the sad topic at that precious moment he was allowing her to be with him. But she would always let him know how she feels about him and that way even if he goes around sleeping with other women he would remember that she loves him.

“Davie I love you but I realize you don’t feel the same way. The only thing I ask from you is that you don’t ask for a divorce again. It breaks my heart whenever you look directly in my eyes and tell me to separate from you.”

“Why are you telling me all this? Don’t you know that matters of the heart can never be controlled? You can’t chose who to love and who not to love. But the fact that I don’t love you does not mean I don’t respect you. I wish to God that I can change my heart to love you, but I can’t. It was already taken by someone else.”
