Skyler's P. O. V

Shifting uncomfortably in my seat, I tried not to look at Patrick's direction. His gaze has been on me since the meeting started. Even though I dared not glance at him, my body still prickled. What if he remembered? That question hasn't stopped haunting me. I desperately hoped he didn't, I don't think I can bear a confrontation from him.

Mr Kentucky, the owner of the company was talking about a bunch of things I didn't quite get but they were mostly based on Patrick. As the meeting was rounding up, he asked Patrick if he was satisfied with the operation of his company and would like to continue to continue their partnership since he's proved their transparency. Sitting up, Patrick cleared his throat and began talking.

" Well, I am greatly satisfied with the operation of this company and would love to continue with the partnership. " He replied and Mr Kentucky beamed.

" That's great to hear. This is one partnership that will greatly benefit both
