Mateo's pov.

I couldn't believe what I was doing. Here I was, following this woman down the street, trying to get a sense of where she lived. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't help myself. I had to know where she lived, I needed to do that.

As she walked down the street, I followed behind her, trying to stay hidden in the shadows. I knew it was crazy, but I couldn't help myself. I needed to know where she lived.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she turned onto a quiet residential street and walked up to a cozy-looking bungalow. She unlocked the front door and disappeared inside, leaving me standing on the sidewalk, staring at the house.
