Bella was walking towards her room when she saw the man looking at the cactus plants. She stared at him who was looking for something in between the plants as his wings were pointed upwards.

"He do look like a demon."

She whispered to herself as Veer would never admit that he was a demon.

She walked towards him and stood behind him.

"What are you looking for?"

She asked him who was startled, turned, looked at her and fell down.

"Ah, my back."

Veer cried in pain and fell forward on his face while Bella could see big thorns pierced on his back.

Everything happened so fast that she could not process what was happening.

"Are you alright?"

She sat down and helped him to straightened up who looked in pain.

"It hurts. " His eyes were already teary by now making Bella feel bad.

"I apologize. I did not mean to startle you like this."

"I never fell on cactus like this." He sniffed while Bela sighed. Giselle was right, he was like a big kid.
