Chapter 32

Ethan's POV

My body shook with rage as I marched towards Alpha Theon's throne room.

Part of me still doesn't want to believe that Norn, the girl I had watched grow up, could do something as terrible as that but I knew that Esme wasn't lying. No one would lie about something like that.

I watched her die for goodness sake and no matter how hard I've tried to, I just can't get the image out of my head.

Ren had certainly won this one. I care for Esme very much and I can't bear the thought of losing her. I just feel bad that it took her almost dying twice for me to finally realize that. I couldn't save her from her injuries but I can at least get justice for her.

Norn will have to pay for her actions.

I finally arrived at my destination and barged into the throne room, catching the attention of everyone around.

"What's the problem, Ethan? Is there any improvement in Esme's condition?" Alpha Theon questioned, looking concerned.
