CHAPTER 26: THE MOTHER

A romantic dinner on the top floor.

The soft wind blows my hair. Sitting adjacent to a gorgeous man. Stars above our heads, and the dark sky is clear.

What a perfect night.

"You look beautiful," he suddenly uttered as he wiped the side of his mouth clean.

Simplicity is my style. If he means by my dress, then he understands that my wardrobe couldn't reach branded clothes. If he meant my makeup, then he understood that I didn't have enough time to apply it properly.

"Thank you," I timidly replied.

"Are you still feeling unwell?" He asked before sipping his wine like an overly disciplined prince.

The etiquette is seen by the way he holds his utensils, how he drinks his wine, and how he eats.

What about me? I know nothing of it, but simply chomp the food inside my mouth, swallow, and burp.

"I feel better," I lied.

The fact that the vertigo is urging me to vomit everything I ate is out of the question. It's getting worse and worse as the seconds run its tik and tok.
