Chapter 51 Someone Wants to Sign Her

Tamara went back to her room to take a short breather. Not a moment later, Ms. Thompson came knocking at her door. Tamara opened the door and stilled when she spotted the glass of milk the housekeeper was holding.

After drinking the milk Cynthia had brought her all those times, her body gradually grew weaker. After having gone through such an ordeal, even looking at milk made Tamara want to retch.

She waved a hand at Ms. Thompson, indicating that she didn’t want any of it.

Ms. Thompson was stunned. “Young Mrs. Lynch, you don’t want milk?”

Tamara nodded affirmingly.

“But you can’t not have any! Milk is rich in so many nutrients. Young Mrs. Lynch, you should really–”

“Just get her something else to replace the nutrients. That’ll make up for it just fine.”

Sebastian interrupted, his tone low and enticing.
