Chapter 53

Asher arrived home and took off his shirt and trouser, he grabbed his towel and went to take his bath, as he walked into the shower, he turned on the faucet and let the warm water run down his hair to his toe.

He slowly closed his eyes and his thoughts turned back to the kiss he shared earlier at the mall with Olivia, he slowly touched his lips.

“She is dangerous.” He ran his hand through his hair and shook his head to snap out of that thought.

He continued bathing, after his shower, he walked out of the bathroom, just after he tied his robe, his cell phone rang and he picked it up when he saw it was Roy calling.

He placed the phone on his ear. “Mr. Asher, I am sorry to call at this time, but there is something I have to inform you.” Roy said from the other side of the line.

“If it isn’t important, you will regret calling me…”

“It’s about Jane.” Roy interrupted him and Asher’s eyes darkened at the word, he swallowed hard and clenched his jaw.

“I don’t want to hear anything about it.”
