“Is the food that bad?” Grabbing a fork from the counter, Caspian tasted the Noodles, the delicious taste washing over his mouth. To think that he'd made sure to cook the best Noodles he'd ever made in his life only for her to reject it.

“It’s not bad at all. There’s nothing wrong with it.”

“Then why can't you finish it?” He stared at the plate. “I made the right portion.”

“It’s just me. I can't e…eat more than a few spoonfuls of food.”

He chuckled, the one gentleman who agreed to marry her because she wanted to, who bruised Jason’s eyes because he messed with her, who took her away from her parent's house because he found out how badly they treated her was now gone.

“That's a sorry excuse. I'll throw it away.”

“What? No.” Anna’s hands quickly came around the plate, shielding it from Caspian’s grasp. Does the man have two personalities or something? Goodness.
