Wedding Night

Without warning, he seized her wrist and yanked her toward him, her body falling on him. Her eyes widened.

“It’s our wedding night, isn't it?”

Her Brunette hair fell over them, tickling Caspian’s face as they stared at each other. She tried to stand up and release herself from his hold but his hand on her waist tightened the more.

“Wh…what are you doing? Our ma…marriage is not real,” she stuttered, her heart pounding through her chest. These days, her heart tends to act on its own, beating so loud anytime she got close to him that she feared he could hear it sometimes.

“Oh really?” His brows raised, a smug smile plastered on his face.

“We had an agreement.”

“I can’t remember us signing any contract.” Right, they never even signed an agreement. It was just oral. But agreement is agreement, right?
