Conceding feelings

It was a raining afternoon. The woman limps through the gravel and unforgiving mud. She's escaped from the clutches of the alpha King, but at what cost? Her whole body was aching from their battle.

Her heart was aching even more.

She was frightened to close her eyes. If she did, all she could see were glimpses of the man she loved the most. Battling him was the worst decision she could have ever made.

It was only natural for the male to feel pain more than her. While fighting, Laura was continously denying the bond that was formed between them. It was a kicking stone for rejection.

She cries her heart out when a hut comes in view.

The hut her mother used to take her on vacations to.

With the tornado for a wind that blows and destructed the open land around, the hut miraculously survived the storm.

My mother, Kathleen, scurries out of the hut upon hearing my cries.

"Laura!" She calls loudly. As I see her, I was washed with assurance as I give up on my body.
