After Anthonio jumped into the waters, we looked everywhere for him. He was nowhere to be found, but we couldn't risk losing him.

After an hour, Massimo finally called off the search. He said that he would have men watching the beach and the area. He also sent guards to my house and a few others.

He wanted to be certain.

And I knew that it wasn't only for me, but he also did this for Avelina. For the sake of the twins.

The doctor arrived the next morning and I sat on the bed next to Avelina as he checked the kids.

Avelina was worried and anxious, and so was I.

"They look healthy. There are no bruises or any broken bones."

"That's good, right?" Avelina asked.

"Yes, it is. I'm still concerned about their mental health, but I believe it's best to bring them to a therapist."

"That's what we were planning to do." I said.

"Good. I can write a prescription for the medicine they need and you can give it to the doctor. You can also call me if you need anything."
