These gifts made them revered but also envied, and eventually, the other wolves' jealousy led to a devastating purge aimed at eliminating the white wolves entirely.

As I read, I discovered a stark contrast between what Lily had told me and what the book revealed. According to the text, there was no mention of a king and queen giving birth to a child.
