Chapter 59

Brian and Mason continued with the fierce fight. They continued to make a mess of everything. I moved away from them in order not to hurt myself and went to stand at one corner as I watched them engage in violence. Mason was kicked away to one corner. My heart ached as I took in his form.

He struggled to get up when he saw Brian advancing toward him. I found my legs moving on their own accord as I went to shield him from danger. My eyes closed anticipating the itching and unbearable pain of his black pointy nails digging deep into my flesh. I waited a bit more. When I didn't feel any pain, I opened them with sudden curiosity, I wanted to know what had really happened.

My heart dropped the moment I saw him in his human form, I don't even know when or how he had managed to get the clothes and changed into them so quickly.
