THIRD POV

A litter of pups could be seen playing on the carpet. There were a total of six as they played with the chess pieces the adults had used. Some put them in their mouths and saliva dripped on the wooden pieces that the adults had put aside after a round of chess game.

Their parents were close watching over them. Sitting on the sofa as they relaxed each with their loved ones. They were on the balcony relaxing from all the tiresome work that they had to do during all those working days.

"Little one look at those six. They are having lots of fun. It is great that we are spending the holidays with the family." Mason murmured to his mate who was leaning on his shoulder as she played against Marcy who was also leaning on the other's shoulder. Mason loved holding onto her as she played like this.
