Chapter 13

Amanda stood behind the kitchen counter, recalling everything that had happened. She still didn't know why Eric acted that way over a video game. He knew she was doing her job effectively.

"Was he already angry before he came back from work," she thought, feeling disturbed about everything that had happened? She couldn't even grasp her fingers at what might be the problem and sighed concluding James turned out that way because of his relationship with Eric who only scolds him but doesn't care about his welfare.

"It's bad for a father to treat his son that way thinking it was right," she thought and sighed. She opened her pot to check the noodles she was preparing.

The water was almost dried up so she quickly moved over to the center table to cut some vegetables she wanted to add to the noodles.

After about five minutes, she was already done. She inhaled the sweet Aroma she was perceiving from her noodles and smiled and licked her lips expectantly waiting to have a taste.
