Chapter 140

Eric carried Amanda to bed and checked her pulse, luckily she was still breathing. He picked up the phone to call his family doctor to come to check up on her.

He was a little bit panicking as he dialed the doctor's phone number.

"Hello, Mr. Adam!" The doctor's voice came from the other side.

"Hello, please can you come over? My girlfriend needs your attention, she passed out all of a sudden," Eric explained.

"Okay, have you checked her pulse to know if she is still breathing?" The doctor asked.

"Yes I have and she is breathing. Please leave whatever you are doing and come over right now," Eric urged, pacing up and down the room.

"I will be on my way immediately, Mr. Adam," the doctor said before Eric ended the call, breathing in relief as the doctor agreed to come.
