Phillie, the next day, smiled lively. Upon the sight of a filthy like myself, her eyes sparkled. She said, “Alta, this is the d-day!”

“Is it?” I smile the same, not trully believe the smile in her lips. How can she smile when I don't well-prepared?

“Oh, wait,” she said the moment she notice something, her eyes look down upon my body. “Haven't you change?”

I blink and my mouth halfly open. “Change what?”

She look at me as if I'm some sort of a joke. “You seriously don't think of change?”

“What's there to change? And what to change...” I look away, my cheeks heated. This is crazy. I don't know if she's being real or what, but I can't just think she really notice that I didn't change at all.

The way she scan me, I know right away she's referring to my dress. In my time in the darkness, I don't think too much about it. Not that I smell bad or what. But perhaps the events of this day is so formal to change for attire?
