A CALL FROM QUIRINO

"Have you been crying?" Quirino asked on the other end of the phone. With just a single 'hello' he correctly guessed what Morana was going through.

Morana was silent when Quirino guessed correctly. She rubbed her nose as she said curtly. "I have a cold."

"You have a cold?" Even just from her voice, Morana could imagine Quirino frowning when he heard her answer. "How come? You were fine last night, weren't you?"

"Yes, I was, but now I have a cold. You can prove it if you are here to see it, " Morana replied casually. "Where's the hairdryer?" She changed the subject.

On the other end of the phone, Quirino really couldn't understand why Morana often asked him for a hairdryer. "How do I know, right over there I guess."

"This is your house." Morana replied while wearing her favorite dark brown sweater and jeans.

"Yes, but that doesn't mean I know all the things in the house. Just ask the maid there, you have met some of them, right?” Quirino said.

"Already." Morana finally found a hairdrye
