The Silent Truth

For a brief moment, Flora turned completely clueless. Her all senses seemed to get blocked. She couldn't understand any single thing. Why were his eyes looking like this right now? And was he wearing grey colour lenses? But it didn't seem like they were lenses. Why would he wear lenses under the running shower? What was actually happening here?

“Why are y…..”Flora stopped her words because she didn't know what to ask him and how to ask him. She continued to gaze into his silver orbs, completely startled, shocked and extremely bewildered.

Unable to do or say anything, she stepped closer to him. By peering thoroughly into his eyes, Flora tiptoed and cupped his face. The shower water continued to fall on them.

He just stared down at her. Not a single word escaped from his mouth but he heard countless questions in her silence. He was already aware of what she wanted to ask him. Her desperately restless eyes told him everything.
