Farren's Point of View

It was Priamos who got in the first blow. Leon staggered to the side and gripped the wall with the pads of his fingers. But he was still too close to the door for us to make our escape. Before Leon could fully recover, Priamos went in again. This time around, Leon was ready for him. Dodged the blow effortlessly.

"Stop it! The both of you!" My mother urged from beside me.

I sent her a glare. Felt hatred bubble in my heart. She had known the depths of her son's depravity and remained silent about it. Only now did she choose to raise her voice. Tried to stop him. She should have reported him to Camilo ages ago. Maybe all of those people he had murdered would have been alive.

Maybe I wouldn't have felt so guilty for what Camilo had done to his back.

There was a crack and shudder as Leon landed another blow on Priamos' jaw. I could see his head slip back further than it should have. Heard as his skull bounced off of the wall. The scream lodged in my throat. Nicolas
