Farren's Point of View

6 Months Later

"Are you sure you want to attend? The twins are so close to being born and I don't want anything to happen to you or them." Isabelle was whining from my bed. She hung upside down. Glared at me whilst I was preparing my makeup.

Not that it was easy. On the contrary, I hated doing it now. My stomach was too large for me to sit comfortably. The mirror was too far away and eyeliner needed to be applied close up. I would stand but bending forward meant my center of gravity was no longer in the right place. Throw that in with the fact that my bladder emptied itself nearly every hour and you had one pissed-off woman.

"I am fine, Isa. It is the grand opening of the Torrez Trust Project. I need to be there. You know how much time and money I spent on this. If it makes you feel any better, just come along." I whined.
