Ozias' Point of View
Alvara was spent. Her body shivered from the adrenaline and lust leaving her. From being brought back down to earth after being in heaven. But Maverick still cradled her to his chest. Rocked her softly as we spoke about the entire scene. She seemed happy with it all. Amazed at what could be done to her body. Anatomy was fascinating. Breathtaking. This was just one of many scenes we did. We loved. The other four senses could also be utilized in the same way as touch. Alvara had just seen the tip of the iceberg.
Thankfully there were beds upstairs. Fully made and cleaned after every party. Ranging from king size to single beds. Dargan would most likely sleep by himself. After a while of being around people, his battery ran dry. This was no exception to him. It was part of his own after-care routine.
Alvara yawned lazily, cuddling into Maverick's chest. His arms wrapped around her. Caged her in and kept any dangers out
Dargan’s Point of View Word was spreading fast through Eiecrunt of our impending war. Maids had gossiped. Spoke out of turn when Ciaran had asked them to remain silent until we had a full plan of action. His command was ignored, clearly. The maids would have to answer to him as to why such sensitive information spread like wildfire. But he wouldn’t fire them. Never. Our people might talk too much. Talk out of turn but they were still our people. Still the reason we carried on besides Alvara. One of our more trustworthy maids had brought us all a change of clothes. Along with bathroom necessities for us to shower off the sex. Breakfast at Wimpy was an order straight from Alvara. She adored the chain restaurant, and we were more than happy to oblige her. So, we showered, dressed, and set off into Menlyn to enjoy our last off day. Blissful day out with our mate. Until shit hit the fan. But it always hit the fan. Nothing lasted forever, even if
Alvara’s Point of ViewAdelia and Teagan had surprised me with a visit. All our out-of-town guests were arriving tomorrow. Staying in the villas just past the stables. Ciaran had invited some to dinner later tomorrow evening. Dressing up and putting a good foot forward was important. From now on I would be known as the Luna of Eiecrunt. The helper and healer of the pack. Getting blessings from our allies was important enough that both Teagan and Adelia had come to choose an outfit. Not too formal nor too casual. There had to be a happy medium by which we could go. Floor-length dress but with fewer jewels than an evening gown. Pumps, no heels. Just a happy girl in love with her mates. No up-dos. Straight hair. The list was endless to what was appropriate and what wasn’t.Adelia would often comment on what made my figure look great and what hung like a bag on me. Teagan would discard the items immediately and try something dif
Adelia's Point of ViewOn the way home I felt my heartbeat speed up. Dizziness warped the edges of my vision but I put my foot down nonetheless. I had to get home. Get to a place where no one could overhear the conversation I needed to have. Father had set about cleaning up my mess with Ciaran. I had told him it was fine. That I refused to go be with Bellamy.Ciaran was the lesser of two evils but I had just joined the ranks of monsters. Had passed a line that I never knew was there.Alvara wanted me to go with her to Half-Moon. Protect her. Be there for her when shit hit the fan and I had betrayed that trust, Betane it down with a stick until it could no longer move. My own wellbeing was up for debate but Alvara's wasn't. She had finally found it all. After horrid years inside that pack. Being stolen. Brutalized. And I wanted to risk it all so that my father would stay appeased.I stopped at a red light, gripping the
Alvara's Point of ViewTuesday morning was a complete mess. Maids ran in and out of every room in the house. Cleaned every surface until it sparkled. Washed every dish three times over so that the porcelain squeaked from cleanliness. Secured flowers by the dozens for the day. Gardeners were fiercely trimming any plant that grew to be too unruly. Mowed the lawn with precision. As if the royal family was coming in for tea and not just our guests for the coming party. My boys were nowhere to be seen, either. Work would keep them busy until lunch. We would eat together and get ready for our first guests afterward. Today was going to be a whirlwind. Luckily I had asked Teagan and Adelia to come to help me get ready for everything. Nervous was a complete understatement. This would be my first formal introduction as Luna of Eiecrunt. We had yet to hold the actual ceremony for it but with the war, there was no time for such luxuries. A si
Alvara’s Point of View Teagan and I had fallen into the champagne. Then into the food. We had gotten dressed with music in the background. Teagan sang freely. Jumped on the bed a few times. I must admit that the alcohol had gotten to our heads to some degree. Made our minds fuzzy and happy at the same time. Neither of us wanted the feeling to end. Not even the cheese could dull the effects. Or even fill me up. Lunch would be a blessing.Adelia’s presence was missed but knowing she was just sick made me feel slightly better. That looming feeling had been dulled by the bubbly goodness of champagne. Knowing that guests were arriving shortly made my stomach buzz. Whether it was from excitement, dread, or the alcohol, I had no idea. But I enjoyed it nonetheless.Harland had finally rocked up, dressed to the nines. His hair was styled perfectly. Teeth bleach white. Even his attire was better than normal. With a casual air around
Alvara's Point of ViewAfter lunch, the tables were set outside. Chinese lanterns were dropped around the garden, casting the atmosphere into one out of a fairytale. Champagne flutes were being packed on small stables and the alcohol itself was kept in ice baths. Fresh flowers sat in vases. High chairs were quickly covered in white covers.Watching all of this unfold in front of me was miraculous. In moments, the garden was transformed from plain to spectacular. The maids had done a wonderful job. Had smiled and laughed as they created this masterpiece. This was a true joy. Something I had never come upon in Half-Moon.Dargan and Harland helped wherever they could. Ozias organized all the snacks on the larger tables. Maverick spoke with security to make sure no one unsavory was getting in. All of this for twenty guests. It seemed almost impossible. Well, twenty people excluding the seven of us.Albert had taken to playing t
Alvara's Point of ViewDinner was a cacophony of voices and conversations. Everyone spoke loudly. Had varying opinions on numerous subjects. Harsh words were exchanged once until Ciaran had stepped in. Stopped the fight before it fully started. I was thankful for his presence. Thankful that he sat at the head of the table.I was to his right. Ozias to his left. Maverick sat beside me and Dargan opposite him. Being caged between all of them set my mind on fire. Made me daydream about what we had done the other night. The cursed mating bond drove my hormones wild. Wanted me to consume them all and leave nothing behind. I tried my best to keep my thoughts hidden but Maverick could smell the arousal every once in a whileHis hand rested on my thigh. Brutally close to my cunt. One move was all it would take for him to please me. Tease me beneath the table. I could feel my cheeks redden at the thought. My boys were too lost in a conversation
Ciaran's Point of View The party went on swimmingly. Everyone was having a good time. Drinking and laughing. Phaedra had taken an interest in what Dargan was doing concerning the consoles and games he was developing. Farren had looked entranced by Maverick and his wild adventures. Nerezza had a certain hunger in her eyes when she looked at Alvara. Those glances she stole of our mate had gone unnoticed by Alvara but tightened something inside my heart. Then Maverick had stood abruptly. Walked out of the dining room with Dargan and Alvara in tow. I hadn't the slightest idea why until I had looked at Alvara. Her cheeks were stained red. Her eyes swam with lustful intent. There was no doubt inside my mind that she had sent images to Maverick. Pushed him far over the edge. Covering my smirk when they left, I averted my attention back to Nerezza. She was speaking about her latest investment. Had pulled Ozias into the conversation as
