Laura didn’t know she was hungry until she got downstairs. The moment she stepped into the kitchen area, she became overwhelmed by the smell of food. Without much delay, she went around the kitchen counter and went to peer over James’s shoulder, but because she was shorter than he was, she ended up standing next to him.
