Chapter 4 - Macy

The stories I was told about the first time being special were lies. Most people say the person will be gentle and the pain will be replaced by pleasure and that I will enjoy it as much as he would but the boyfriend, I thought was sweet deceived me and insulted my family.

I was angry and sobbing as I ran home. The sky felt my pain and decided to join in on my misery as it started to rain soaking in no time. I guess the rain covered all my sobs and I didn’t realize that I had taken the wrong turn and had stopped at the wrong bus stop.

I decided to slump down and wait for the rain to stop as my thoughts started going back to Julian’s house. Tiffany’s disgusting face flooded my head as they laughed at me and called my mother weak and my sister a slut. I was angry at myself for letting Julian into my life and believing his lies.

I shook my head no wanting to believe the vile things he had said and started to sob again. There was a black van that stopped in front of me and the guy stepped out and grabbed me by my arm forcefully.

“The boss has been looking for you.”

The guy started pulling me into the van before I could fight back, and I knew the grip he had would leave a bruise later.

“Let me go,” I shouted, trying to wiggle myself from his grip.

“Little Macy, your tricks won’t work,” he said, throwing me in the van.

“No, Wait,” before I could say more, he had closed the door and the car was moving.

He called me Macy my mind was now racing my heart was now beating fast because I didn’t know where I was going. What has Macy got herself into? The engine stopped and I was dragged out of the van. I could see the sign just as Julian had said earlier and reality sunk in as the man dragged me into the club.

“Star Club, sis what were you up to?” As much as I wanted to fight back, I couldn’t because I wanted to know who Macy had turned into.

Part of me hopes this will be ironed out soon, but the man had his grip tight on my arm and he was practically dragging me up the stairs. We took the elevator up and as soon as I heard the ding he shouted.

“We don’t want to keep the boss waiting, do we?” He nudged me off the elevator and he barged into the office throwing me on the floor, making my bag and shoes fall the same way I did.

“Guess who I found?” He was pointing at me.

There was a man in a nice suit sitting on the desk looking at the computer who looked up from the computer before walking from his desk to me.

“Ty, what’s the meaning of this?” He asked, pointing at me with a frown.

“I found her,” he smirked proudly, “She thought she could pull one on us.”

“No,” I was shaking my head.

The man started laughing and Ty started laughing too before he was close to Ty and he smacked him on the head.

“You idiot, that’s not Macy,” he said, shaking his head and kneeling in front of me getting me up before picking up my bag and shoes.

I looked and him confused and Ty looked confused too before he started to talk again.

“Forgive my brother, he is not that smart, shhh don’t cry,” he wiped the tears I didn’t notice had been falling.

“Who - Who are you?” I asked, shaking. My drenched body was now shaking out of fear.

“Tom, owner of Star Club,” he said before Ty cleared his throat “We co-own the business. I handle boring paperwork and my brother here is more hands and muscles of the club.”

“Tom, why would you say that it’s not Macy? That bitc-“ Tom glared at Ty which made him silent. Tom had more brain and authority.

“Macy is dead, and this here is her little sister Maya” he looked at me smiling.

“Macy has a sister?” Ty asked, shocked.

“Can I leave now?” I asked, looking at Tom and clutching at my bag and shoes closely.

“I’m afraid not, dear,” he directed his attention at Ty. “For someone who has slept with Macy, you should have realized that Macy was a perfectionist which meant she would be in one hell of a designer dress and nowhere near where you found her. Macy was the best and she would have found a way to seduce you instead of crying like this one, ” he looked at me but addressing his brother.

I was dumb folded and blinking as I listened to Tom speak about Macy that way. By the look on Ty’s face, I could see he was agreeing with his brother.

“How the hell was I supposed to know that? I mean they look alike,” he looked at me, “Well, almost if you look closely” he turned to his brother.

“I didn’t look closely and I knew,” Tom shrugged.

“Macy is dead?” Ty asked, looking at me, his eyes filled with sympathy.

“You can tarnish my dead sister’s name like that. Her body is still fresh for God’s sake, ” I said, walking to the door, but Tom gripped my hand not as hard as Ty but with force shaking his head.

“You are not going anywhere,” Tom smiled at me. “Macy made plans that include you. I’m afraid that you can’t leave.”
