Ashlyn went for another walk that was turning into a frustrating run in the woods, as she decided to break some streams that creeping out to her veins. She saw totally irritated over her mate which made her break some logs into pieces which she never did before.
“That’s…Argh! Whatever!” Ashlyn groaned as she felt of wanting to rip somebody or something. She kept breaking any broken logs in the woods and she doesn’t know where they landed whenever she throw them away from her path until she felt exhausted. Good thing it was within their private property.
“But why does it have to be her?” Ashlyn panted as she looked around where she went havoc all of the sudden. She just blow some streams that were building within her.
“Why she’s the only one who can disturb my feelings like this? So irritating
Ashlyn could hear the conversation that her mate and mother were talking as they were just walking back inside the house. She was on the staircase by that time and when she sensed them inside, she went on proceeding to head into her bedroom. But she was still listening to them. ‘Oh please, Vlad, you two looked good together…’ ‘On which part, Luna?’ ‘For catching her temper and violent behavior.’ ‘As if I had a choice…’ When Ashlyn heard that she really wanted to strangle her mate’s neck and threw Vladimir into the deepest pit. But technically, she could not do that since she had a very disturbing feeling blossoming already from within. She could not escape
After a week ever since Vladimir came into the pack, nothing seems to change around the pack aside from they were all getting along with their vampire visitor. But to Ashlyn, it was another story since she was either losing her temper or even going on crossing fists with him which the pack was amused on watching. They were totally even but there was something that started to change more in Ashlyn and like what was happening the moment when Ashlyn saw Vladimir smiling at somebody. “MOVE!” Ashlyn was totally pissed off and she doesn’t know what was causing it. She knew that it was Vladimir but there was something else that she could not put a name on. Not yet, at least. “Hey, even though you’re the soon-to-be alpha you shouldn’t be doing that to our visitor.” the woman and the mate of Ashlyn’s beta name Ina.
“WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? WE’RE NOT EVEN TOGETHER FOR YOU TO SAY THAT!” Ashlyn shouted as she pointed out about them not being a couple. But immediately regret when she saw the pain in Vladimir’s eyes again. She hates to see them and when she was about to break free from his grip, Vladimir speaks. “Kim, I don’t care how many times you hurt me with your words or your actions…but please, don’t run away from what you truly feel and what makes you happy.” Vladimir was very sincere and even smiled at her which Ashlyn wanted to punch his guts for masking what he really felt. But she felt how sincere he was and it softened her. “I am not…running away…it’s just that…it hurts…” Ashlyn stuttered and her tears began to fall once again and it was in front of her mate. “I know…I see that you’re jealous. I h
As Ashlyn was having her own time in her own bed, something made her jolt and get up from lazying on her bed. She got up only to be welcomed by the noon sun. She was not sure what she was feeling but her heartbeat was feeling something odd and she does not like it one bit. “What’s going on?” Ashlyn muttered to herself as she get up from the bed and was about to head to her balcony when she started to sneeze again, she groan like usual. She was about to speak when Vladimir immediately covered her mouth which made them end up inside her bedroom. She doesn’t know what was going on but she could not shake the fact that she doesn’t like being too close to her mate at the moment. So, again, she flipped Vladimir before punching his stomach. But Vladimir was in vampire mode as his eyes glowed in a deep shade of the ocean.
“Silly…by the way, are you still going to work later tonight?” Luna Serenity laughed but turned to Vladimir and asked about his work late since they need to prepare for the fallen rogues’ estimated arrival. “Why?” he asked the couple as he sipped from his blood wine. “We’re going to set curfew just for the safety of the pack.” Alpha Jace answered which was understandable. “I see…do you want me to help you around since it’s my only way to return the favor you’re giving me?” Vladimir nodded in understanding and even offered his help in dealing with whatever that was coming into their pack. “Hm, I will take that offer since there was something I would like to know since I’ve got reports from my brother about the time when they were being attacked by fallen rogues.” Alph
Five hundred meters away was not enough for them to come up with any strategies to make their defense in high security. But as soon as they got inside the office, Alpha Jace went straight to the point as he looked firmly at Vladimir. “I am not sure if they were connected to the things that were happening in some packs around here but, I’ve received some notification reports from other packs that had some issues with fallen rogues' sudden attacks. At first, it was not disturbing as some said they were just passing and did not do anything with their pack’s perimeter. But to others, it was totally concerning one.” Alpha Jace said as he released a heavy sigh before he threw the reports over his desk which Vladimir and Ashlyn were confused about. “Concerning?” Vladimir took some of the papers and read them.
Ashlyn and Vladimir went out of the house but before Ashlyn could even run into the woods, her wrist was pulled by her mate. Ashlyn’s heart rate increased and was about to hit Vladimir but before it could even happen, he already carried Ashlyn into her arms like a bride before jumping high into that room of their house. Ashlyn wanted to argue about that but Vladimir was too serious to argue over something that was not relevant to the issue that was coming. At first, Ashlyn wanted to slap or hit Vladimir’s face again since he was not putting her down as soon as they landed on the roof of their house. Not until she heard a very firm and serious cold voice come out form her mate that made her shiver. “Navigate.” Vladimir whispered as he was still holding Ashlyn protectively into his arms. Ashlyn’s arms around Vladimir’s neck suddenly w
Every dodge there’s always a counter and at every counter there’s only blood. Whenever they exchanged attacks and dodges, they both managed to kill all the fallen rogues who were causing a ruckus in their pack. But the more they fought alongside together, Ashlyn was feeling the rush and excitement as if she was thrown back in time to where she was with her last mate. She love the feeling and she missed them greatly not until something suddenly went odd when she could not see Vladimir beside her any longer.“Vladi, where are you?” Ashlyn suddenly got worried before she easily snapped the neck of one fallen wolf that she was holding while the rest of the pack kept on fighting.Ashlyn went to look for her mate as she kept fighting for the safety of the pack but she could not find her mate around the village. She clicked her tongue in frustration and her temper was rising up again.“Ruen, did you see, Vladi?” Ashlyn linked to her best friend and beta while she breaks the bones of the fall
