I was rocking side to side and I could feel the warm leather bench underneath my butt. I could feel the hard surface under my back as I leaned against the bench.
"Well, he couldn't have just disappeared like that, Pandora," Lexy said in an exasperated and tired voice since I've kept her awake since the early morning. When I woke up, Romeo was gone and I ran around like a mad woman, screaming for Lexy to wake up because my beloved was gone.I felt empty.
I was really sad but life had to move on unfortunately. I had bills to pay and food to eat so I needed to continue performing. I couldn't sit around and cry all day even though that's really all that I wanted to do. I forced myself out of the house and made my way to the café that Amelia works at.
I was pretty freaked out by my encounter with that stranger from the gas station. It was obvious that he had to have been following me because what are the chances that we would meet again? And what are the chances that he knew my name and last name? It was just really creepy.S
